The bridge by Ryan
In my opinion, this soldier is doing the right thing for two reasons. Firstly, the soldiers have warned each other in advance. When the woman first tried to cross the bridge, the soldier had clearly told her that she could not let her pass. This means that the soldiers have fulfilled their obligation to inform. For example, the traffic police have clearly told you that the road maintenance ahead, you can not pass, and you have to be hard-hitting, and your car has an accident, which is certainly not the responsibility of the police. Secondly, the soldiers shot and killed the woman, this is his job. The professional requirements of soldiers are obeying orders, and their professional attributes determine that they use guns to maintain safety and execute orders. When the woman first tried to cross the bridge, the soldier had clearly told that she could not pass, otherwise she would shoot her, but she insisted on passing it the second time, so the soldier just did what he should do. Just like a butcher slaughtering livestock (although this metaphor may not be appropriate). As a result, The soldier is doing what he is responsible for, so there is no fault.
Is the soldier's job to kill unarmed women?
