The bridge(May 28th)


 The husband has a guilty for the woman’s death and There are three reasons why he is the most to blame for it.

 Firstly, the husband left from the women for 3 months and he was selfish to decide a decision to go somewhere. It is difficult for her to know that the husband has no feelings to his wife and she may think it is same as unmarried. For example, when a married couple doesn’t have a good relationship and the husband lives separate from the wife, they may think it is unmarried. In fact, she betrayed to her husband because of his disappointment.

Secondly, the husband suddenly came back to home and the woman was shaken up by it. She didn’t have a time to think why she flung her husband and her attitude of moral felt guilty about it. For instance, a woman who is loyal to herself and didn’t want to betray to her husband, she may be a panic at moment. In conclusion, the husband was not thinking any bad situation so that she was panicked when he was coming home.

Finally, the married couple didn’t trust each other and the husband was only doing his job. They had a misunderstanding of impressing their feelings so that she pays her attentions to his husband for wrong way. For example, a person is loyal to husband but he won’t respond her, she may think I am not attractive to him and she will do something wrong way. To conclude, her husband was doing something alone and she felt lonely so that she betrayed him.

    Very clear idea, but some sentences are too long and may be divided into a few sentences to make the sentence clearer.

The Bridge ( Hoang Do )

This is short story about a woman’s death with five culprits which are the woman, her husband, her lover, the soldier and the boatman. On the one hand , the woman in this story is an immoral and unethical woman because she broke the vows with her husband. For example, the woman took a lover who lived across the bridge on the other side of the river meanwhile her husband had to go away for three months. On day, she heard that her husband was coming with her, therefore she left her lover to came back home. However, the soldier did not let her through the bridge, he told her that he would shoot her if the woman tried to cross the bridge. Moreover, she asked the boatman nearby the bridge for take her cross the river, but the boatman wanted $100 from her to do that. On the other hand, she asked her lover who destroyed her family’s happiness for money, but he refused. Finally, she tried to cross the river and she was shot by the soldier, that is result of the traitor.

Brazil a father and a son

Today, we had read a story about one of Brazil lottery winner nearly murdered by his father. The father was planning to kill his son because of $16 million jackpots. This story made me think about which are essential to our life? Money or blood relationships? Which one needs to be blamed?  In my opinion, the father needs to be criticized than his son because of his illegal decision and immoral actions. Firstly, from a legal point of view, whether the son kills or not, his father’s behavior which he hired two killers to kill his son have committed a crime. As everyone has the right to live, nobody’s  life can be deprived arbitrarily by someone else. Even they are a blood relationship. Secondly, the father disregards moral values. In this case, the father put money above everything, even the life of his son. This is selfish behavior.
