Brazilian father and son (Fiona)

       In Brazil, an unethical father wanted to kill his son by hired killers for $16 million lottery prize. Father's behavior was definitely unjustified for 2 reasons.

       First of all, the father is ignorance of the law. His son is the original winner of this lottery jackpot, and what he did just deposited his money in his father's account. But the father refused to hand over the winnings. Logically, those winnings totally belong to his son's property, therefore the father was ineligible to interfere in his son's property control.

       In addition, the father was lack of love. He thought money is more important than his family. He had even hired killers to murder his son to achieves his purpose: Get that $16 million. He is cruel and cold-blooded.

       Finally, people can't leave money in this world, but there is a thing that more precious than money, it's life.

    Hi Fiona, I think your opinions are clearly, I agree with you two supporting points. I hold a similar view like you. From the view point of law, I was thinking of the father’s murder action violated the law, while your idea also correctly, the amount of money from the lottery are his son’s belongings, while the father cannot rob it as his own.

On the one hand , the woman in this story is an immoral and unethical woman because she broke the vows with her husband. For example, the woman took a lover who lived across the bridge on the other side of the river meanwhile her husband had to go away for three months. On day, she heard that her husband was coming with her, therefore she left her lover to came back home. However, the soldier did not let her through the bridge, he told her that he would shoot her if the woman tried to cross the bridge. Moreover, she asked the boatman nearby the bridge for take her cross the river, but the boatman wanted $100 from her to do that. On the other hand, she asked her lover who destroyed her family’s happiness for money, but he refused. Finally, she tried to cross the river and she was shot by the soldier, that is result of the traitor.

Brazil a father and a son

Today, we had read a story about one of Brazil lottery winner nearly murdered by his father. The father was planning to kill his son because of $16 million jackpots. This story made me think about which are essential to our life? Money or blood relationships? Which one needs to be blamed?  In my opinion, the father needs to be criticized than his son because of his illegal decision and immoral actions. Firstly, from a legal point of view, whether the son kills or not, his father’s behavior which he hired two killers to kill his son have committed a crime. As everyone has the right to live, nobody’s  life can be deprived arbitrarily by someone else. Even they are a blood relationship. Secondly, the father disregards moral values. In this case, the father put money above everything, even the life of his son. This is selfish behavior.
